Structural Particulars
The project involved complicated structural foundations that included waterproofing of horizontal elements and vertical secant piles. The General Contractor chose to use cement boards whereby SOPREMA had to install COLPHENE BSW V over the cement boards, which were mechanically fastened over secant piles using metal brackets and wood frames. The COLPHENE BSW V was tied in with COLPHENE BSW UNI NG loose laid over the work slab. The project also involved the treatment of 900 pile caps with ALSAN FLASHING & flashing reinforcement (POLYFLEECE) in addition to detailed treatment of deep lift pits and MEP trenches.
